Shantel D. Harris President

Mrs. Harris is a native of South Florida. After experiencing many hardships throughout her childhood, it was her desire to develop an organization that would serve our communities. After the honor of serving as Vice President under Peppi Hendrix, Mrs. Harris became President in 2018. With what began as an informal networking group, Mrs. Harris decided to create Christians in Business as a non-profit organization in honor of the late Mr. Hendrix, an educator in Palm Beach County. Christians in Business will continue to carry the legacy of helping our children and community to R.I.S.E.

Founded in 2018, Christians in Business is a non-profit organization created in honor of its late founder, Peppi Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix was an educator in the city of West Palm Beach for more than 15 years. As such, it was Mr. Hendrix's desire to connect small businesses in our community. He did this by creating a platform for owners to meet, network and showcase their businesses. He also developed programs that assisted with training youth in our community with entrepreneurial skills. Now a non-profit organization, Christians in Business continues to train our youth through R.I.S.E, a youth training and mentorship program.
